Ukrainian Post-Punk on Vinyl – a Release Supporting the “No Silence” Fund by Revenge Group
Revenge Group is a compilation of Ukrainian songs created in collaboration with the Ukrainian Armed Forces unit – Revenge Group. This release attempts to capture the experience the soldiers are living here and now. It is an audio illustration of memory, the present moment, and resilience. Most importantly, all proceeds from the sale of this vinyl will be donated to the unit and their fund “No Silence,” which aims to raise 5 million UAH. The compilation features well-known contemporary artists such as SadSvit, Palindrome, HateSpeech, Lykho, and many others.
Revenge Group is a platoon of unmanned strike aviation complexes, initially formed from infantry of the 1st Mechanized Battalion in February 2024 before the upcoming heavy battles for Avdiivka. The unit continues to write its story while operating in the most difficult sectors. Their motto, “Revenge for Comrades,” drives them forward and never lets them stop. Their goal is to minimize enemy fire impact and prevent enemy movements in their sector.
This release from ТІЛЬКИТАК Records is limited to 299 copies on grey marbled 180g vinyl in the color Cold Light. Each copy includes a booklet with photos of the unit and their personal accounts, lyrics, a postcard, and stickers.
The exterior features a hand-numbered Obi-Strip, emphasizing the collectible nature of the release.
