Product description
“These nine stories in the album are not unique. If our society were a movie, these songs would be screenshots of different moments of that film. I want to show that we currently share similar thoughts to such an extent that every song could be applied to oneself.” © Cheev
Cheev is a Ukrainian/belarusian singer, known for his "soft" new wave style and deeply emotional lyrics. Noir is an album in which the singer reinterprets the original genre, characterized by pessimism, by adding hope and optimism. Lyrically, it is romantic pop music with bright arrangements that also feature drama.
Cheev (Chizhikov Vladyslav) is a musician who started with covers of famous songs, and participated in the projects "X-Factor" in 2016 and "Holos Krayiny" (The Voice of the Country) in 2019. While working on his signature style, he recorded songs in Ukrainian and Belarusian.
Noir is the singer's second full-length album, inspired by black-and-white cinema of the 1940s. It is a deeply intimate and reflective work that is entirely focused on themes of love and emotional struggle in modern conditions.
In honor of this landmark album, the ТІЛЬКИТАК Records team released two ultra-limited versions, each offering a unique aesthetic and level of exclusivity. Produced in the following variants:
- Blue Galaxy: 249 copies, blue record, 180g for deep sound. The release includes a booklet with song lyrics and a photo of the artist, and an insert, the first 100 of which are autographed.
- Dark Blue Galaxy: 99 copies, blue marbled record, 180g, supplemented with a lyrics booklet, a large poster, and an insert, the first 50 of which are autographed by the performer.
Externally complemented by an Obi-Strip that is hand-numbered and emphasizes the collectible value of the release.
