Description
“This album shows another side of me—in life, I seem like a cheerful person, but inside, I often feel sadness, which I expressed through music.” © YUVI
Yuvi is a contemporary Ukrainian electronic artist from Kyiv. The album Spomyna Lyubovu (Recalling Love) is a melancholic and reflective look at the artist's inner world. It is a musical diary dedicated to the themes of memory, nostalgia, and, of course, love.
Yuvi (Ulyana Avtenyuk) is a sound producer and multi-instrumentalist who has been involved in music almost her entire life. The stage name Yuvi is an abbreviation of the performer's first name and patronymic. She uses music as a way to express her own emotions and anxieties. Spomyna Lyubovu is the performer's first full-scale album, characterized by melancholy and unhurriedness in the lyrics combined with experimental electronica, broken rhythms, and emotional intensity—all this is about the new album. Here, the performer experiments with sound and adds more vocals. For example, in the song “Bihty Nykudy” (Nowhere to Run), she used the lyrics of the composition “Zhyva” (Alive) but gave them new meaning and showed how music can transform the perception of words.
Working on this release, we at ТІЛЬКИТАК Records focused on maximizing the atmosphere of the album. A gatefold cover with a photo of YUVI on the spread. A booklet with lyrics for the tracks and in the style of the cover, a photo insert for autographs, and a large poster in one of the edition variants. Produced in two colors:
Dark Moon: Translucent dark blue marbled 180g vinyl, circulation – 299 copies, the first 69 of which contain an autograph.
Blue Moon: Translucent light blue 180g vinyl, circulation – 199 copies, the first 69 of which contain an autograph, and this edition contains an additional poster inside.
