Stepan Higa is a Honored Artist of Ukraine and a true legend of Ukrainian pop music of the 1990s. His music has become a symbol of sincere, melodic, and deeply emotional Ukrainian song. “Best Songs” is a compilation of the artist’s greatest hits, bringing together heartfelt songs about love, loss, family, and the road home.

Stepan Higa’s musical journey began more than 40 years ago. Over this time, he has become a true cultural icon, remaining equally beloved by both older generations and younger listeners. The phenomenon of his popularity lies in the authenticity and sincerity of his songs – music that has genuinely become “folk” in spirit and meaning.

“Best Songs” unites the most famous tracks of the artist on a single vinyl release. Among them is the iconic “Yavoryna”, a requiem dedicated to the memory of the legendary Nazariy Yaremchuk. The compilation also features “Tretiy Tost” “Zoloto Karpat” “Tsey Son” and many other beloved songs. These compositions have lived on radio waves, accompanied family celebrations, weddings, and personal memories. The vinyl edition also includes a new track, “Smereky oseni ne znayit” which has already captured many hearts.

This is a reissue of an already cult release by TILKYTAK Records, presented in an updated design and, sadly, dedicated to the memory of the great Maestro, who left us an immense musical legacy for which we are deeply grateful. This release was created with the utmost care and respect for Stepan Higa’s artistic heritage. It is available in two editions:

• Black: classic black 180g vinyl, gatefold edition with lyrics printed inside; includes a large poster. Limited edition of 399 copies.
• Gold Splatter: gold 180g vinyl, gatefold edition with lyrics printed inside; includes a large poster. Limited edition of 99 copies.

Each copy is part of a limited, hand-numbered edition and includes a sticker with the individual number, adding significant collectible value to the release..
