Burned Time Machine – Liminalnyi

Burned Time Machine is a modern metalcore band from Poltava, interesting for their successful experiments with alternative genres and mixing of styles. Liminal is the band's debut full-length release, the plot of which sees the main character falling into Limbo—a place of lost souls.

Founded in 2019 by Vladyslav Usenko (vocals), Myroslav Shcherbak (guitar and vocals), Bohdan Narizhny (guitar), and Artem Pakhot (drums). As the performers themselves say, their sound is inspired by the modern new wave of Western metal. The band's work touches upon love lyrics, self-discovery, and difficult psychological states.

The album “Liminal,” released in 2024, is a key work of the collective, and its name—meaning "being on the threshold, in a transitional state"—perfectly reflects its content. The beginning of the full-scale invasion changed the consciousness of many people, including the musicians of Burned Time Machine. The track "Baiduzhist" (Indifference) holds a special place on the record, as it became a kind of beacon for many listeners and other musicians, pointing out the direction to move.

The plot of the release: The main character falls into Limbo, a place of lost souls. He doesn't know how he got here, but he guesses what exactly catalyzed these events. Wandering through different rooms, he gathers all his memories, feelings, and experiences piece by piece. Love. Love that made him vulnerable, that made him cruel, that made him candid. Eventually, he manages to let go of the most precious thing and find something instead. Something truly important. He finds peace. At the moment of soul cleansing, he lets go of his emotions and starts all over again. Thus, the cycle of the lyrical hero's life and the cycle of the album close.

The edition from ТІЛЬКИТАК Records was created to emphasize the drama and intensity of BTM's music. A gatefold cover with a photo of the band on the spread, supplemented with a booklet with song lyrics and a photo insert. Produced in two colors:

Red Moon: Red marbled 180g vinyl, circulation – 249 copies, the first 99 of which contain the autographs of all band members.

Translucent Red Moon: Translucent red marbled 180g vinyl, circulation – 99 copies, a poster is additionally included, and the first 49 copies are autographed.

A hand-numbered Obi-Strip adds collectible value to the release.
