hackedface – optional/mandatory

hackedface is a modern alternative rock band from Uzhhorod. They have a recognizable musical style—harsh rock with industrial elements, which perfectly conveys a feeling of anxiety and adrenaline. Optional/mandatory is the band's first mini-album from 2023, focused on the theme of freedom and choice in the digital age.

hackedface was formed in 2020 by Maksym Hrezhynets and Bohdan Fedynets. They began their activity by performing various covers of well-known songs. They quickly gained recognition after participating in the "Faine Misto" and "Intercity" festivals.

optional/mandatory is a reflection on the modern world, where choice is often an illusion, and duties become imposed. Each track is an attempt to find a balance between what we want and what we should do. In fact, it is a collection of emotions imprinted in various musical styles. Stylistically, the album is heterogeneous, which is due to the band's attempts to find themselves in different sounds. The record includes 4 bonus tracks, including the banger "Dance Baby Dance" feat. 0%Mercury and Sick Solution.

For the first time on vinyl, this release was created by the ТІЛЬКИТАК Records team with the maximum sound quality necessary for intense alt-rock, and the recording was made at 45rpm for an even cooler sound. The edition is supplemented with a booklet with track lyrics, a photo insert for future autographs, and a stencil for graffiti in one of the variants. The record is made in two colors:

• Oxygen: A special 180g record design, limited circulation of 199 copies, the first 99 of which contain the band's autographs.
• Rockstar: An equally unique 180g record design, circulation totals 99 copies, the first 49 of which contain the band's autographs and, as a special feature of the edition—it contains a stencil for graffiti.

The edition is supplemented with a hand-numbered Obi-Strip, which emphasizes the collectible value of the edition.
