Dity Inzheneriv — a new wave of Ukrainian rock

Dity Inzheneriv is a Ukrainian rock band from Kyiv, formed in 2020. Their music combines punk rock, grunge, garage rock, and pop punk, with straightforward guitar-driven sound complemented by live vocals and lyrics about everyday life, people, and the realities of modern Ukraine.

The band’s debut album, “Velkam tu Yukrein, pank,” was released in 2021. The group gained wider recognition after the release of “Rubtsi” in 2022, followed by other notable tracks such as “Ty b ne poviryla,” “Navushnyky,” “TETs,” “Kashtany,” and others.

Na Zhyvo v Bel Etage — a moment captured on vinyl

On October 14, 2023, Dity Inzheneriv played their first solo concert at the Bel Etage club in Kyiv. Almost an hour of live music, a full venue, and special guests — the frontman of The Unsleeping, the frontwoman of Renie Cares, and saxophonist Andrii Barmalii. This concert became the basis for the release “Na Zhyvo v Bel Etage.”

This is not a studio version of the band’s well-known songs, but a recording that captures the atmosphere of a particular evening — the live energy of the stage, the audience’s reaction, and the band’s sound in concert.

The record features 14 tracks, including “Kashtany,” “603 700 kv km,” “Zlo,” “TETs,” “Rubtsi,” and “Navushnyky.”
