Product description
A Psychological Portrait of the Trickster.
An Exploration of Inner Conflict, Immorality, and Self-Destruction.
Telema is a contemporary metalcore band from Ivano-Frankivsk, known for their unconventional lyrics, irony, and high-quality sound that quickly attracted attention. “Proidysvit” is a conceptual album centered on the character of the Dreaded Trickster – a symbol of inner conflict and moral ambiguity.
Telema was formed in 2019 by Vladyslav Kuliy (vocals), Andriy Korchahyn (bass), and brothers Taras (drums) and Roman Figol (guitar). The band’s name refers to a term widely known in philosophical and esoteric circles (especially through Aleister Crowley’s teaching: “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law”). Telema’s musical style is an explosive blend of metalcore, melodic hardcore, and alternative.
“Proidysvit” is the band’s second full-length album, released on March 21, 2025. It continues to explore themes of self-discovery and the destructive tendencies of human nature. The nine-track album follows the journey of the Trickster: beginning with the light-hearted “Carefreeness”, moving into the dramatically chaotic “Nightmare”, and culminating in the final track “The End”. Stylistically, the album combines raw metalcore with melodic elements, creating a contrast between external and internal chaos.
For this release, TILKYTAK Records captured the album’s dark atmosphere. The Gatefold packaging includes a booklet with lyrics, a photo insert for future autographs, and an annotation about the hero’s journey. One edition also includes a large poster. The album is available in two variants:
- Dark Moon: dark 180g vinyl, limited to 199 copies, with the first 99 containing the band’s autographs.
- White Moon: light 180g vinyl, limited to 99 copies, with the first 49 containing autographs, and includes a poster.
- Cassettes: black cassettes, limited edition of 100 copies.
Both editions feature a hand-numbered Obi-Strip, enhancing the collectible value of the release.
