Description

The album combines indie-pop, psychedelic rock, and electronic elements — it sheds light on the internal, sensual, and sometimes experimental sound of the band from Ternopil.

Tik Tu is a contemporary Ukrainian indie band from Ternopil. Their music is a mix of multi-genre sound. The album "Ulitakis" is an atmospheric and experimental work, distinguished by hypnotic rhythms, ethereal female vocals, and deep, multi-layered production. The lyrics, although contemporary, often hint at folk poetry, creating a sense of a musical journey.

The band Tik Tu was founded in 2014 by Nataliia Bahrii (vocals, flute, viola, and keyboards) and Roman Bozhko (bass, keyboards, and programming), who were later joined by Lesyk Drachuk (drums). The band's name arose by chance: a name was required for the announcement of their upcoming concert. Since there were only two band members at the time, the name suggested itself — "Tik Tu" means "only you" in Lithuanian, implying, "who else will play with me and listen to my tunes?" The band's music is performed in Ukrainian, Lithuanian, and English.

The album "Ulitakis" is the band's second studio album, in which special attention was paid to its sound. The distinctive sound was achieved through analog keyboards, various noise effects, and retro cassette recorders, as well as the involvement of musicians with symphonic components (trombone). As a bonus, the track "Aero" was included in the album.

For the first time on vinyl from the ТІЛЬКИТАК Records team, in which we wanted to convey the original atmosphere from the music video for the track "Aero," which embodies the band's style. The release is created with a gatefold sleeve, lyrics for the tracks are added to the record sleeve, and the record itself comes in two colors:

Ultra Green: bright green 180g vinyl, limited edition — 199 copies, the first 99 of which include the band's autographs. Inside each one, you can find an insert with a photo for autographs.

Ultra Sun: bright orange 180g vinyl, limited edition — 99 copies, the first 49 of which include the band's autographs. Inside each one, you can find an insert with a photo for autographs and a large poster.

Both versions are externally decorated with a hand-numbered Obi-Strip, which adds collector's value to the edition.
