An Iconic Album of the Era.

Iryna Bilyk — one of the leading figures of the Ukrainian pop scene

Iryna Bilyk is a legendary Ukrainian singer and songwriter whose work played a significant role in shaping the sound of new Ukrainian pop music in the 1990s. Her musical career began in 1988, and just a year later she took part in the Chervona Ruta ’89 festival.

Bold creative experiments, contemporary arrangements, and deeply personal lyrics quickly established Iryna Bilyk as one of the most prominent artists on the Ukrainian music scene. Songs about love, personal experiences, and complex emotional states have always held a special place in her work.

Tak Prosto — an album about love, loss, and the spontaneity of feelings

“Tak Prosto” is Iryna Bilyk’s fourth studio album, released in 1996. It is an emotional, stylish, and sincere record that combines experimental sound with direct and heartfelt lyrics.

The album explores themes of love, loss, lightness, and the spontaneity of feelings. Elegant arrangements emphasize the emotional character of the songs, creating the distinctive atmosphere of Iryna Bilyk’s music in the mid-1990s.

The album features 12 tracks, including “Dai Ruku Meni,” “Fransua,” “Tak Prosto,” “Prosto Lito,” and “Tia-Tu.”

In 1997, the album was supported by the large-scale “Tak Prosto” tour, which included more than 30 concerts across Ukraine. The concerts at the Ukraina Palace sold out within just a few days, and the tour received the “Event of the Year” award.
