Jim Jams is an experimental metalcore band from the Sumy region that combined the stylistics of metalcore, nu metal, groove, and popcore, creating a recognizable sound. Dasein is the band's latest album, entirely in English, which resembles an unrestrained flow of energy and charismatic audacity.

The band was formed in 2004 thanks to true rock fans – Pavlo Neryanov (vocals and songwriter), Yevhen Muzychuk (guitar), Oleksandr Fesenko (guitar), and brothers Artur Makhmudov (bass) and Artem Makhmudov (drums and backing vocals). Due to its unique and fresh sound, the band immediately took 1st place at the Chervona Ruta 2004 festival in its first year of existence.

The album “Dasein” was released in 2013 and represents a captivating blend of progressive metalcore and melodic elements. With its powerful and dynamic sound, this album left a lasting impression on fans of the genre and remains relevant to this day.

Dasein (German pronunciation: [ˈdaːzaɪn]) is a German word that literally means "being there," or "existence." The expression Dasein is used to denote the experience of being that is characteristic of human beings. Thus, it is a form of being that is aware of and must confront issues such as individuality, mortality, and the dilemma or paradox of living in relation to other people while ultimately remaining alone with oneself.

The album is still absent from streaming services, but it is definitely worth your attention. In the album, the band effortlessly combines heavy breakdowns, complex guitar riffs, and soaring melodies, creating a unique sonic character. And the band Jim Jams is perhaps one of the most underrated bands in its genre, who worked on their style and vision throughout their journey. This is why their works sound relevant even today.

Jim Jams – Dasein from ТІЛЬКИТАК Records is a unique release that came out in two versions: Ultra Clear Vinyl (199 copies) and Clear & Black Vinyl (99 copies) – both releases are pressed on 180g vinyl to ensure depth of sound. The package includes:

Ultra Clear contains a photo insert, and the first 100 copies are autographed by the band members, along with an illustrated booklet featuring the album lyrics.

Clear & Black is supplemented with a photo insert, the first 50 copies autographed by all band members, and also a booklet with the song lyrics.

Both versions are adorned externally with an Obi-Strip featuring hand-numbering, which emphasizes the uniqueness of the release.
