Product description
Kompas — a modern rock band from Lviv, known for their alternative sound and deeply personal lyrics. The album “Dim” (Дім) is their second full-length release — filled with soul’s unrest and a journey of self-search in a world that has already changed. The band’s history goes back to 2013, when it was founded by Viktor Novosolov (acoustic guitar, songwriter) and Oleksii Tseliukh (guitar and songwriter). Later, Mykhailo Salo (bass) and Yurko Khomik (drums) joined. Kompas started as an acoustic project and eventually evolved into a full-format rock band. The name “Kompas” came quite by chance — Viktor dreamed of a compass, which later became the band’s name.
Dim marks a new stage for the band, their first full-format album, recorded in times of rapid changes and upheavals. Technically polished and lyrically honest, the album reflects that process of self-discovery which the band — and many listeners — go through. The album opens with the motivating and bold track “Doroga” (Дорога), continues with the emotionally retrospective “Pamiat’” (Памʼять) and ends with “Tikay u sny” (Тікай у сни).
This release is not only a significant milestone for Kompas, but also one of the first releases from our label ТІЛЬКИТАК Records — so we approached it with special attention to detail and distinctive touches, created by fans for fans. The album is available in two unique color variants: White Vinyl (199 copies) and Raspberry Vinyl (99 copies), both pressed on heavy 180 g vinyl for rich, deep sound. The edition includes:
- For White Vinyl: a 4-page illustrated booklet with lyrics, a band-photo insert for autographs (first 100 copies signed), and obi-strip with hand-numbering.
- For Raspberry Vinyl: a 4-page lyrics booklet and a photo insert (first 50 copies signed).
Externally, both versions are enhanced with an obi-strip and unique numbering that adds collectible value to the release.
